Prof. Kevrekidis was selected by the University of Houston Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering faculty as the 2016 Payatakes Memorial Lecturer. Alkis Payatakes was a former member of the UH faculty who made seminal contributions to transport phenomena and fluid mechanics focus on porous media, colloidal systems, and biological media. The lecture will be given in April 2016.
